1. About the service
Pockevltbriskio publishes editorial travel planning guidance about coastal Portugal and answers reader questions by email. The service is informational. We are not a tour operator, travel agent, carrier or insurer, we hold no licence to sell travel products, and nothing on this site constitutes a booking, reservation or offer of transport or accommodation.
2. Your obligations
You agree to use the site lawfully and not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its hosting infrastructure; scrape, harvest or systematically download content by automated means; submit false, abusive, misleading or unlawful material through the contact form; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person; or use the site in a way that degrades performance for other users. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you send us and for keeping your own device and email account secure.
3. Accuracy and no professional advice
We write with care, but transport timetables, opening hours, trail access, fares and safety conditions in Portugal change frequently and without notice. Our guidance describes patterns, categories and selection criteria rather than guaranteed specifics, and it is not a substitute for checking official operator, municipal or national sources before you travel. We give no travel, legal, medical, insurance or financial advice. Decisions about your itinerary, your safety on trails and beaches, and your compliance with entry requirements remain entirely yours.
4. Intellectual property
All text, layout, code, illustrations, SVG artwork and the compilation of content on this site are owned by Pockevltbriskio Travel Media, Unipessoal Lda. or licensed to it, and are protected by Portuguese and international copyright law. The name "Pockevltbriskio" and the wave-and-sun mark are our trade marks.
You may read, print and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with clear attribution and a link to the source page. You may not republish substantial portions, create derivative guides, use our content to train machine learning models, or resell any part of the site without prior written permission. Requests for permission go to [email protected].
5. Your submissions
When you send an enquiry you grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and process it for the purpose of replying and improving our guides. If we ever wish to publish an anonymised version of a question, we will ask you first. Do not send confidential documents or third-party personal data through the form.
6. Third-party links
We link to official transport operators, tourism boards and weather authorities because they are the correct primary sources. Those sites are outside our control; we do not endorse their commercial offerings and we are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Review their terms before relying on them.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or amend any part of the site, including individual guides, without notice and without liability. Content may be edited or archived as conditions in a region change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, and for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising from use of this site or reliance on its content. This includes, without limitation, missed connections, cancelled tours, closed trails, weather disruption, additional accommodation costs or injury sustained while following a route described here. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to EUR 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Portuguese law. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the site.
10. Termination
We may restrict or block access to the site, and decline to correspond further, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached — for example in cases of scraping, abuse of the contact form or attempted intrusion. You may end this agreement at any time by ceasing to use the site; sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law survive termination.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. The courts of Lisbon have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and you retain the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.
Before starting proceedings, please contact us at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve the matter directly; we aim to respond substantively within 15 working days. Consumers in Portugal may also refer disputes to a recognised alternative dispute resolution entity.
12. Changes and severability
We may revise these terms; the version published here at the time of your visit applies. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the whole agreement between us regarding the site.
